Spooky Halloween at Tivoli, Copenhagen

Visiting an amusement park would not be at the top of my list for a city weekend getaway. But for the Tivoli in Copenhagen I’ll make an exception any day 😍

Even if you’re not into the fast and furious fun on the rides, the Tivoli gardens alone are a sight to see. The entire park is decorated four times a year. For Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and Summer. An absolute must see for your trip to Copenhagen!

Spookiness on another level

As the air chills and leaves dance in the wind, I couldn’t imagine a better place to embrace the spooky season than the Tivoli gardens. The impressive efforts into creating a immersive atmosphere are on their own level.

The amusement park completely transforms into a realm of frights and thrills during the Halloween season, captivating visitors with a bewitching blend of fun and family friendly spookiness!

Thrills and Chills – things to do

From haunted houses to ghostly rides that send shivers down your spine, there’s no shortage of ways to get your heart racing on the 30+ rides the park has to offer.

But fear not, the Tivoli is not just for the brave-hearted. Take part in a pumpkin carving workshop, check out the costume parades or choose your favourite from the 60+ themed restaurants and food stalls. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The Tivoli Amusement Park is truly an experience like no other. Having bought just a ticket to the park which excluded the rides, I was still in awe just walking around with my mulled wine. Three hours flew by! The best destination for all creatures of the dark during spooky season by far.

So make sure you don’t miss this unique experience on your next trip to Denmark. I know I’ll be coming back – also to experience the other seasons.

xx, Irene
